1.gif - 49 Bytes Since there is no separate inventory of waste in waste dumps, precise information on the composition of waste is not available. However, some indicators testify that the proportion of organic matter in waste is more than 50% of the total waste amount in the larger cities and less than 10% in small towns and villages. There is virtually no organic fraction in waste collected from the individual farms and rural areas, since organic waste is composted for use in gardens.
