Air quality

Pollutants released from stationary and mobile sources affect air quality, the composition of precipitation, and the deposition on soil and water. The dispersal of pollutants is not affected by national boundaries, and they can be dispersed for long distances from their sources. The main environmental problems causing by transboundary air pollution are: acidification, formation of ground level ozone, eutrophication and accumulation of pollutants in organisms.
