| Global participation in the Vienna
Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer (1985) and the
Montreal Protocol On Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer
(1987) has contributed much to prevent further destruction of the
ozone layer.
The Cabinet of Ministers Regulations On Protection of the Ozone
Layer, accepted in 1997, listed the actions required to terminate
use of substances that deplete the ozone layer (ODS), and gave the
procedures for use of these substances until their removal form
utilization.
