| Preliminary
data for the Rīga centre indicate that the mean yearly
concentration of fine particulate matter with a diameter of less
than 10 mm (PM10) exceeds the limit value for
human health protection. Several of the recorded 24-hour PM10
values in Rīga and Liepāja also were above the limit value.
