The main causes of risk are outdated technologies and constructions (including damage to pipelines), transport vehicles, and raw materials and chemical substances stored at enterprises which have been left without supervision during the privatization process. The risk of transport accidents is directly associated with loading, transit, and internal transport of hazardous cargo.
